Artistic wedding photography for traditional (and not-so-traditional) celebrations in Minneapolis, Mexico, and destinations around the world.
LET’S MAKE WEDDINGS STRAIGHTFORWARD
You’re a busy human with a life outside of wedding planning.
Let me help with that.
If you’re looking for a lighthearted photographer who has an eye for the “in-between” moments, a knack for fun candid photos, and a love for showcasing each event’s unique personality on both digital and film — you’re probably in the right spot!
If you’re looking for extremely formal, “every-image-is-posed” wedding photography, you have my blessing to stop reading here.
the process
-
Fill out any contact form on the website or email me directly at hello@adrianstein.com. The more you can include in your initial inquiry, the fewer back-and-forth emails you’ll need - and the faster I can put together a custom proposal for you.
-
Though I can give you a ballpark idea based on the inquiry, you won’t get a package that truly fits what you’re looking for unless we can talk more about what you need. If you’re truly short on time, feel free to let me know before our call. Most video or phone calls are somewhere between 15 and 30 minutes.
-
You’ll get a custom web-page sent to you within 24 hours of our call. This page will include notes, FAQ’s I think may be helpful, and a selection of packages that have been specifically created for you (ranging from “minimum coverage you’d need” to “everything you could want”).
-
Based on the package you choose, you’ll be able to e-sign a contract and submit your deposit via ACH or card (autopay is also available). The invoice, contract, and any due-dates or reminders will be automatically sent to your inbox, so you’ll never need to fish for information.
-
If your package includes an engagement session, we’ll start sorting out the details within about a month or two. If not, you can expect a brief pause in communication, followed by a check-in email around the 6-month mark.
Photo planning includes things like photo preference check-ins, chatting about mood boards or design decks, and sorting out family photos. My goal is to be intimately familiar with how you want your wedding documented.
-
The wedding weekend is here! Yay!!
I guide my wedding-day workflow around the priorities we’ve previously discussed:
I’ll be right in the middle of the action whenever needed — getting fun candids and blending in with guests to get those those “I didn’t even see that!” photos, and fade into the background during softer moments like the first look and ceremony.
-
You’ll get sneak peeks within a few days of the wedding, and the rest of the gallery within 6-8 weeks of the event (along with at least a 24-hour warning beforehand).
This way, you can schedule a date night to sit down and relive the wedding day in an intentional way with your partner.
BESPOKE PACKAGE OPTIONS WILL BE CRAFTED BASED ON YOUR WEDDING DAY PRIORITIES, PLANS, & LOCATION

A note on wedding day emotions and family dynamics
It’s not a popular topic, but it is an important one.
To put it simply: I aim for an emotionally-aware approach to photography. Weddings are often packed with heightened feelings, which can enhance complex family dynamics.
We will have a conversation before the wedding so that I can approach documentation in a way that feels good to you and honors the spirit of your event. If you have a full-service planner, you can expect these questions to be directed to them.
Unless otherwise directed by you, I have a “no sad tears” approach. Happy crying, or even just “this is a huge day” crying, can be a beautiful and heartwarming inclusion in a gallery that helps to tell the story. However, people mourning the loss of a loved one, having a bad time with their date, or experiencing the stress of it all — will not be photographed in their moment of vulnerability.
