Creative Wedding Photography For City Hall Weddings in Minneapolis and Saint Paul
A fun, relaxed, and elevated photo experience, no matter how or where you get married.
so you’re looking for something different
Let me guess - a “full wedding” doesn’t quite appeal to you and your partner right now. You want something unique, fun, and incredibly true to you. More importantly - you just want to be married already! The idea of waiting a year or two to make it official is unbearable, and you’d go to the courthouse tomorrow if they had the availability!
Courthouse weddings are, by nature, low-key, relaxed, and all about doing whatever you want to do with your day. Do you feel like having a celebratory reception afterward? Consider it done. What about a morning spent at the farmer’s market together? Absolutely.
And the best news of all? You’ve just found a photographer with plenty of experience in that exact type of day.
what makes this process unique
My approach can best be described as “playful, breezy, and nostalgic.”
I aim to deliver lighthearted photos and an easygoing-yet-elevated journey, which means that you’ll never have to compromise on the experience just because your wedding is a little non-traditional.
If you want a photographer who gets to know you and your vision, helps you relax in front of the camera, and makes the entire process fun and easy - keep on scrolling!
I believe that marriage is a serious decision… but weddings should be deeply, unapolagetically, fun.
“When I tell you that Adrian made the whole thing completely stress-free and fun I mean it 100%”
I cannot stress how much I dislike getting my photo taken, much less photo shoots. When I tell you that Adrian made the whole thing completely stress-free and fun I mean it 100%. We just got our full wedding photo set back and we are BLOWN away! from the first image we knew we were going to be impressed. if you are looking for someone who is down to earth, stress free and is top notch at their craft, look no further. 1000/10 would always recommend Adrian!

the journey
-
We’ll have a short chat right before booking in order to establish your ideal timeline. Whether you’re getting married in 3 days or 6 months, we’ll come up with a communication schedule that works for you.
I'll reach out according to that schedule to start coordinating any photo wishlists, mood boards, or daydreams you have. We’ll go over priorities, photos with your witnesses, plans outside of the courthouse (including extra experiences or photo locations), and make sure we’re 100% on the same page!
-
I spend a lot of time organizing beforehand (even for courthouse weddings!) so that we can all be relaxed and confident on the wedding day This is why we discuss priorities and photo goals in advance!
In fact, if I do my job right, it should feel like we're all just breezing right along through your plans (with minimal logistical conversations). The main goal is for you to focus on each other and any witnesses you’ve invited.

2-3 days:
You'll get a few sneak peeks, all in both high-resolution and web-size resolution (so you can immediately share or print your favorites)!1-2 weeks:
Film photos are delivered as the scans come in! Timing depends on the film lab’s availability, but these will hopefully tide you over while you wait a bit longer.3-4 weeks:
As the gallery is being finalized, you'll get an email with your estimated "done-by date” and a request for you to schedule a date night together! No matter how small or non-traditional the wedding is, going through your photos for the first time should be a fun and intentional activity! This is why the final delivery date is planned around your schedule (not mine).
-
Your online gallery will be linked to high-quality professional photo labs. If you want to order prints for birthdays or anniversaries, all you need to do is click a little shopping cart icon on the selected photo.
That said, since your gallery includes both high-resolution images and a print release, you are more than welcome to print using whatever service you like!
If you would like a professionally-designed fine art album or coffee table inspiration book, we’ll start discussing the details about a week after the wedding gallery is delivered.
“You could tell she genuinely wanted to capture what was most important to us and what we envisioned”
Adrian was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with to capture all moments from our special day! We appreciated her attention to detail and her variety of equipment, such as using film. She was super professional throughout our meetings leading up to the wedding day and very thoughtful in terms planning the day of schedule. You could tell she genuinely wanted to capture what was most important to us and what we envisioned. Adrian made us feel so at ease while posing for the camera and definitely was able to get family members comfortable too. We would highly recommend her to anyone around us in need of a photographer for any occasion and would love to work with her in the future!

I’m always more than happy to add extra hours and customize the day according to how you’d like to celebrate — if the package below doesn’t have enough coverage for your vision, we can always adjust.

The City Hall Starting Package
available Monday-Thursday year-round
with limited weekend availability Nov-March
-
This could be anywhere from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm, or 9:00 am-12:00 pm.
This leaves time for ceremony photos, pictures with your guests, and portraits around the city or in your favorite place (not necessarily in that order).
-
I love to include 35mm film as an additional way to add nostalgia to the gallery.
This will be delivered in its own section of the gallery, around 1-2 weeks after the event, and can act as a fun collection of highlights.
-
Each and every image is individually inspected and manually edited to match the overall vibe and vision of your wedding experience.
-
Though I do recommend downloading your gallery (just in case), all of your final images will be stored online in a cloud-based system for the foreseeable future.
You'll be able to download web-size photos for social media, use high-resolution files for printing, or even share images directly to Facebook.
-
So you’ll have the option to download and print at the highest possible quality (whether you use the lab linked within your gallery or elsewhere)!
-
Though you may never need to use the print release, some professional labs will request it in order to ensure you're allowed to print photos on your own (outside of the gallery).
Consider it additional proof that you and your family are more than welcome to print using whichever lab you like. -
If you need help deciding what to do before/after your courthouse wedding, all you need to do is hop on the phone with me!
The brainstorming session is just a fancy way of bouncing ideas off of each other, until we land on something that feels perfect for you.
